Hazards
HELP GUIDE
We manufacture high-quality, heavy-duty PVC strip doors for hazardous industrial processes related to welding, farming, manufacturing and mining.
Above all, what really matters is protecting your workers and providing a safe user-friendly workplace. Although a small investment, cleverly built and positioned strip doors offer an intelligent hazard minimization strategy. When safety is paramount, a purpose-built PVC strip door provides hazard protection:
MACHINE AND METALWORK
Shavings, filings, turnings or chips produced during sanding, grinding and other manufacturing processes could make your workplace unsafe. Industrial strip doors physically block small projectiles, helping to prevent injuries to workers.
PROTECT EYES FROM ARCS
We custom make welding strip curtains using EN1598 (ISO 25980:2014) Standard transparent strips for welding. This specific PVC material blocks stray sparks from entering neighboring areas, and more importantly, prevents eye damage to nearby workers from harmful UV light rays emitted during arc or MIG welding, or related processes.
PROTECT EARS FROM NOISE
Heavy-duty industrial strip curtains with greater strip thickness and strip overlap distance will cut down loud noise by up to 17 decibels” to “Heavy-duty industrial strip curtains with greater strip thickness and strip overlap distance may cut down loud noise by up to 17 decibels.
DUST HAZARD CONTROL
In mining, earthworks, farming and quarry applications, industrial strip doors are used to reduce the movement of dust between work areas to protect worker’s lungs from inhaling dangerous dust and airborne particles.
PAINTS AND SPRAYS
In manufacturing applications that involve chemical sprays and paint treatments, an industrial grade strip door helps to contain liquid from sprays and to reduce odors and toxic gases escaping, therefore protecting nearby workers from exposure to dangerous chemicals.
LIGHT MANAGEMENT
Performance theatres and cinemas use custom-built strip doors in a dark or block-out PVC material to reduce light contamination during shows, while simultaneously allowing easy and quiet traffic flow backstage.
